Music Historian/Photojournalist Don Aters: "50 Years of Music" Photo Exhibit
Legendary Music Historian and Photojournalist Don Aters brings his Collection of rare and uncirculated Photos to the Tucson Musicians Museum on November 17 and 18, 2017.

The Exhibit and Live Music Event will take place at the Museum and North Exhibit Hall, in Downtown Tucson.

PHOTOS will be on display, with Prints available For Sale.

The weekend will conclude with the installation of a Permanent collection of Don's work at the Museum.
The Permanent collection will be rotated with new photos 3x a year.

Don will appear both evenings,for Meet and Greet/Q&A sessions,followed by Live Music.

His body of work spans 50 Years, and includes not only Live concert shots, but personal and backstage photos.

As a friend of Promoter Chet Helms, and an insider of the 60's Music scene, Don enjoyed a rare vantage point into the public and private lives of many Legendary musicians.
His travels took him to notable venues from Fillmore East and West to events such as Monterey Pop Festival and Woodstock.

Moving through the decades, Don amassed a truly incredible collection that captured both historic careers and historic moments in Music.
By the early 00's, Don was there for new Festival brands such as Bonnaroo, and to help celebrate Anniversaries of Events like Monterey.

He continues to travel the country by choice and request, shooting live music, writing Concert reviews,
and Exhibiting his photography.

Included in the Display:
Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Rolling Stones, Beatles, Grateful Dead, Bob Dylan, Linda Ronstadt, Tom Petty, and many more


Friday, November 17:

6-7pm:  VIP Meet and Greet with Don

7-8pm:  Q&A session with Don and Tom Constanten

Live Music in North Exhibit Hall
Cash Bar, Food available

8:30-9:30: The George Howard Band Soul Review featuring The Heatwaves

9:45- 11pm: Tom "TC" Constanten of The Grateful Dead

11:15- Midnight :  Top Dead Center

Saturday, November 18:

7-8pm: Meet and Greet with Don and TC

8-10pm: Acoustic Music in The Museum
